Practicing your skills, no matter what they are, will improve your knowledge and turn your talent into a worthwhile pastime you'll enjoy. Below are many sketches I have completed. For every complete sketch there are many failed ones, the more sketches you do the less failed ones you'll have. Then you start to look at how you can improve the images you do. Drawing and painting are only different in one major way that is color. If you can draw you'll be able to paint, all you need to do is to learn the color mixing combinations. Again this is down to practice. Reading about color mixing is an advantage and you'll make many mistakes, as you continue practicing these become few.
